System Integration for

A video takes off, and the tickets are on one site while the merchandise is on another shop entirely. We cut the losses that happen just before a purchase by rebuilding the landing layer.

Issues

Three things that actually get stuck in a ticketing and merchandise layer

Illustration of a ticket booth, with a young person looking at their phone some distance away

01

The path breaks partway

Tickets on a ticketing site, merchandise on a separate shop, membership on the official site. From LINE you can reach none of them directly.

The fixWe run a direct path from the rich menu to ticketing, the merchandise store and membership.

02

Sales happen and no record remains

Walk-up tickets and merchandise sold at the venue leave the revenue but not the buyer. There is nowhere to send the next message.

The fixWe shift towards advance sales and LINE sign-ups, leaving a list you can reach next time.

03

You can't talk about ads in tickets and revenue

Without measurement on the purchase completion, ad results can't come back as purchases. All you keep is views and clicks.

Process

From the first conversation to going live. All the configuration work is ours

Workflow

Account details for the tools you use, and how the work runs on matchdays and weekdays. Those are the two things we ask for

Illustration of the discovery phase, taking stock of the tools in use and the workflow

Phase01

Discovery and current-state review
  • Ticketing and shop tools in use
  • How matchdays work
  • The purchase channel mix

We identify what you use and where things get patched by hand.

Ticketing, the merchandise store, LINE and the advertising. We layer the state of the tools and accounts against how the work runs on matchdays and weekdays, and how stock gets updated.

Phase02

Path and system design
  • Tidying the ticketing and shop paths
  • Designing the LINE and advertising integration
  • Tracking design

From finding you to buying becomes one continuous line.

Social and advertising, LINE, ticketing, the merchandise store. We put what each handles into a shared diagram, then decide the metrics and how advance and walk-up sales are separated.

Phase03

Build and configure
  • Store build and product listing
  • Rich menu integration
  • Tracking tags

We take the admin screens off your hands entirely.

Building the merchandise store and listing the products, connecting the rich menu to ticketing and the shop, configuring the pixel and conversions. All done by us.

Phase04

Testing, migration and training
  • Test purchases
  • Migrating existing data
  • Manuals and training

We buy something for real and confirm it before switching over.

A test purchase confirms the notifications, how stock moves and how the measurement records it. Existing customer data and followers migrate, the operating manual goes over, and then we switch.

Phase05

Optimization
  • Running the shop day to day
  • Monthly reporting
  • Sync with social and ads

After launch we keep adjusting it against the purchase numbers.

We run the product updates, order handling and LINE messaging, and deliver a monthly report on ticket purchases and merchandise revenue. The results feed the social media and advertising plans.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked in sport and entertainment

Can we keep the ticketing system we already use?

Keep it. We build around your current ticketing system, booking system, LINE official account and shop. We only raise switching when it is clearly less work.

Our merchandise store barely moves except on matchdays. Is it worth building?

The value is having somewhere to send a message on days when there is no fixture. Connect the shop to LINE and new lines, restocks and season announcements reach previous buyers directly.

Our LINE following has grown, but people block us.

In our experience, most of it comes from sending everyone the same thing. We segment by attendance history, purchase history and how often people come, and prepare a direct path to the ticketing page alongside.

Can ad results be seen in tickets sold or merchandise revenue?

Both. A pixel and the Conversions API on purchase completion for the ticketing page and the shop put it in terms of purchases, cost per acquisition and revenue against ad spend. Re-delivery to people who dropped off partway gets configured too.

Can you take the admin screens off us entirely?

We take them. Product listing, order, stock and delivery handling, rich menu configuration, measurement tag installation. All our work. An operating manual goes over before launch, and we run training if you need it.

Have you done this integration in sport and entertainment?

We explain the process with examples from close industries when we meet. The results we hold in this field are collected on the influencer PR page for sport and entertainment.
