Issues

Three things that actually get stuck in real estate recruitment

Illustration of a finger scrolling near-identical property cards on a portal

01

You get lined up on terms alone

A job board carries pay, days off and qualification allowances. On screen every firm looks the same, and the one with the bigger numbers gets chosen.

The fixWe put into words, role by role, why the long-serving staff stayed, and turn it into copy.

02

What the job involves doesn't travel

Nobody knows what property management actually involves, and site management carries only the impression of being hard work.

The fixWe film accompanied viewings, the contract admin and a morning on the rounds in first person, showing it without staging.

03

It doesn't arrive when you need it

You notice you are short of people just before the peak. Start advertising then and the time from application to joining doesn't fit.

The fixWe start delivery before the peak, and run applications, interview scheduling and post-offer follow-up on LINE.

Process

From the first conversation to going live. All you provide is the time to film

Workflow

Strategy, filming, the landing page, advertising and LINE, all taken on together by us

Illustration of the discovery phase, sorting through hiring problems and building the persona

Phase01

Discovery and persona work
  • Vacancies by role
  • Putting into words why people stay
  • How much inconvenience to disclose

It starts with how many people short, role by role.

We ask about shortages in sales, site management and property management, your recruitment spend and your retention. Why people stayed, and the inconvenient parts, get put into words here.

Phase02

Filming
  • Sales, site management and property staff
  • First person (POV)
  • Works without faces

We film the working day without dressing it up.

Accompanied viewings and the contract admin, move-out inspections and a morning on the rounds, all in first person. Where filming may happen is agreed beforehand.

Phase03

Build
  • Dedicated recruitment landing page
  • Four videos and three banners
  • Official LINE and ad accounts

The place applications land gets built before delivery.

A dedicated recruitment landing page with video and banners, the LINE application path and the ad account, all assembled. The legally required details get built in at the same time.

Phase04

Launch
  • As little as ten working days after filming
  • Meta and TikTok
  • Split by role

Delivery starts as little as ten working days after filming.

We take on the delivery in the first month, narrowing it by operating area and age and checking applications and cost per application daily.

Illustration of the optimization phase, improving the page and creative against live campaign data

Phase05

Optimization
  • Budget reallocated on cost per application
  • Ongoing landing page improvement
  • Brought forward ahead of the peak

Budget keeps moving to the videos that work.

We keep fixing the landing page and the opening seconds while moving budget to the placements with the lowest cost per application. The monthly report shows applications, cost per application and interview rate.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked in real estate and housing

We only hire a few people a year. Is there any point reaching widely on social?

Reach isn't the aim. What we're after is that someone who looks you up finds video showing what the job actually involves. Delivery can be confined to your operating area.

Do recruitment posts on social carry the same disclosure duties as job adverts?

The same duties apply. Under the Employment Security Act, six items — the employer's name, address and contact details, the duties, the location and the pay — must appear in the post itself.

We want experienced licensed agents. Can social media find them?

Frankly, for a targeted hire filtered on a qualification, a recruitment agency is sometimes faster. What social does is make you the first company someone remembers once they start looking.

We're only short just before the peak. Does it have to run all year?

We suggest an annual pattern: film in the quiet months to build a stock of video, then launch delivery three to four months before the peak.

We're worried about tenants, customers or properties appearing in the footage.

Where filming may and may not happen is agreed in writing beforehand. Starting from places where permission is easy, like vacant units and your own office, is enough to get going.

Do you have recruitment results in real estate and housing?

We talk through examples and the process from close industries when we meet. The results we can show in numbers are collected on the recruitment marketing pages for restaurants and salons.
