Why SNS

4 benefits of social media management for auto repair shops and car workshops

  • Illustration of cars driving past a roadside garage while the phone screen in hand stays blank

    Merit 01

    New reach

Show passers-by what your shop does

Unless inspection is due, a garage is just somewhere people drive past. Vertical video that lands in recommended feeds shows local car fans what actually goes on inside.

  • Illustration of a dotted line from a DM bubble towards a work order and sales chart that breaks off

    Merit 02

    Clear results

Track it in numbers from DM to booking

Posting photos doesn't tell you how many cars came in because of them. Count DMs and LINE bookings per post and you can see which videos brought in work.

  • Illustration of one mechanic beside two empty lifts and a blank notice on the wall

    Merit 03

    Helps with hiring

Show the mechanic's job before people apply

A free lift is no use without a mechanic to work it. With videos from the worker's point of view on your account, people unsure about applying see what the job ad can't show.

  • Illustration of a mechanic in dirty gloves at a lift, with a tripod, phone and clock left to one side

    Merit 04

    No extra store work

    Keep posting without stopping work

In a busy season nobody has time to pick up a phone in oily gloves. Hand filming through posting to us and the updates keep coming without stopping the work.

Why TripClear

Four reasons auto repair shops and car workshops choose TripClear for social media management

  • Illustration of a first-person video on a vertical phone with a long playback bar, a save icon and a search bar

    Reason 01

    3.8×

More saves, more branded search, longer viewing

POV that follows the job from the lift to the finished car, through the mechanic's own eyes, is watched for 30 to 40 seconds per view and saved 3.8 times as often as regular video. Prices and booking sit behind the link.

    POV Studio

  • Illustration of icons for strategy, planning, filming, posting and analysis on a single loop around a vertical phone

    Reason 02

    Fully handled

    One-stop management

We ask which work you want to show, which bookings you want more of and which stock you want to sell, then give each platform a role. DMs and LINE bookings are counted, and enquiries and bookings reported monthly.

  • Illustration of a studio where a person wearing a chest-mounted first-person camera is flanked by a director at a monitor and an editor in headphones

    Reason 03

    Japan's first

    A professional POV team

As Japan's first official Insta360 partner, we film repairs, custom work and handovers together in one day. How customers' cars and plates appear is agreed at the first meeting.

    POV Studio

  • Illustration of play, heart and save icons rising from a row of vertical phones, with a growth curve behind and a sprout at their feet

    Reason 04

    10M+views/month

An organic track record that speaks for itself

We have grown accounts organically, without ad spend. For every video we check where viewers drop off and the completion rate, then build the next ideas on the jobs that got the best response.

POV is another way to shoot

Photos of finished cars still have their place, but when you want to show the hands and sounds of the work as they are, POV is an option. Here is one example that fits the job from lift to finished car into 30 seconds.

  1. CUT 010–3s

First-person sketch of pressing the lift lever as the car rises

    Today's car

    Up on the lift

AimStop the scroll as the job begins

  2. CUT 023–10s

First-person sketch of hands removing wheel nuts with an impact wrench

If you know, the sound says it all

    Wheel off

AimLet the sound of the tools play

  3. CUT 0310–22s

First-person sketch looking up from under the car, hands fitting a new part

This is where it really changes

    Fitting parts underneath

AimGive the skilled part the most time

  4. CUT 0422–30s

First-person sketch looking at the finished car from the front after lowering it, keys in one hand

Get in touch via our profile

FAQ

Questions we often hear from auto repair shops and car workshops

Will filming mean stopping work every time?

No. With POV, the camera sits on the mechanic's chest and the usual work becomes the footage. We never ask you to free up a lift or hold a job for filming.

How is pricing decided?

Social media management and POV video production come as a single plan, from JPY 300,000 a month. Pricing moves with the number of videos and the ideas behind them, so we quote individually once we know how often you want to film and what the concepts are. Secondary use is allowed, and recommendations for linking with ads are included. There is no charge for filming equipment (as an official Insta360 partner, we lend it). If ads are run, media spend is charged separately at cost.

Which company runs this service?

TripClear Inc. (Shinsen-cho, Shibuya, Tokyo). Our core business is social media management and vertical short-form video production, and we support auto repair shops and car workshops. For company details, see TEAM.

We post photos of cars, but get no response.

Photos of finished cars make every shop look the same. Add hands at work, the sound of tools and the mechanic's voice, and people find a reason to choose you. We start by filming your everyday jobs.

Is it a problem if customers' cars or plates appear?

Number plates are blurred in the edit. If a car's model or colour could identify its owner, we get the customer's agreement before filming. Which cars can be filmed is decided with you at the first meeting.

Should we lead with custom work, or with inspections and repairs?

It depends on where your revenue comes from and which work you want more of. Custom work tends to draw people in, while inspections and repairs convert well through LINE reminders. We often run both, each with its own role.

Can you show our used-car stock on video too?

Yes. A first-person walk around the exterior, interior, engine sound and underside shows a car's condition better than photos. Posts send people to your stock pages, and we review by the number of enquiries.

Can this help us recruit mechanics?

Yes. Videos showing hands at work also show what it's like to work in your garage. The same filming speaks to both customers and job seekers, so we agree how to present it first, then adjust as we see how applications move.

Do you have case studies or a track record with auto repair shops and car workshops?

Yes. The results section on this page introduces our work with auto repair shops and car workshops. Our track record across other industries is collected in Works.
