SNS Account Management for Shopping Malls & Commercial Facilities

Shopping Malls & Commercial Facilities
Social Media Management

Young people don't search for a mall by name. We turn an official account that has become a stack of sale notices into a place that gives people a reason to go, through the experience of walking the mall.

  • TikTok

Why SNS

4 benefits of social media for shopping malls and commercial facilities

  • Illustration of an official account screen packed edge to edge with sale tags, and a shopping mall building fading in the background

    Merit 01

    New reach

Give people who haven't come yet a reason to visit

Posting sales and opening hours alone doesn't give anyone a reason to come. Vertical videos walking through the mall reach the feeds of people who have never visited.

  • Illustration of a dotted line from a video on a phone to a crowd in an event plaza, broken partway, with the visitor tally left blank

    Merit 02

    Clear results

Connect posts and visits with numbers

A mall measures foot traffic and app members. Add tracking to event pages and coupons, and you can explain which one social media moved, through the actions that lead to a visit.

  • Illustration of a unit with its shutter half down, a lone sales assistant at the till and an empty name badge rack

    Merit 03

    Helps with hiring

Show a day working at the mall

Without enough sales staff, shorter hours and empty units are on the rise. Videos of a day working at the mall show the atmosphere that individual stores' job ads can't.

  • Illustration of approval-pending paperwork stretching from each unit on a floor map and piling up on the desk of the person in charge

    Merit 04

    Less in-house work

Post without waiting for tenants' materials

If you wait for each tenant's head office to approve, the event has started by the time the photos arrive. Hand off filming in the mall, and you can post ahead of events without chasing materials.

Why TripClear

Four reasons shopping malls and commercial facilities choose TripClear for social media

  • Illustration of a first-person video on a vertical phone with a long playback bar, a save icon and a search bar

    Reason 01

    3.8×

More saves, more branded search, longer viewing

POV follows a visitor from the entrance to the shop they came for, the food court and the rooftop. Videos filmed this way get saved more than regular videos, 3.8 times as often.

    POV Studio

  • Illustration of icons for strategy, planning, filming, posting and analysis on a single loop around a vertical phone

    Reason 02

    Fully handled

    One-stop management

We work back from the days you want to fill, such as weekday afternoons and gaps between events, and the visitors you want. With tracking on event pages and app and LINE coupons, we report the actions that lead to visits every month.

  • Illustration of a studio where a person wearing a chest-mounted first-person camera is flanked by a director at a monitor and an editor in headphones

    Reason 03

    Japan's first

    A professional POV team

As Japan's first social media marketing company certified by Insta360, we capture 12 videos' worth in two hours without disrupting the sales floor. We film tenant staff's point of view the same day, and bring tenant approvals into a single flow before the shoot.

    POV Studio

  • Illustration of play, heart and save icons rising from a row of vertical phones, with a growth curve behind and a sprout at their feet

    Reason 04

    10M+views/month

An organic track record that speaks for itself

We have grown 15+ accounts, all without ad spend. We check where viewers drop off in every video and carry the floors that do well into the next plans. Tenants who appear review posts before they go live.

POV is another way to shoot

We use tenants' new arrivals and event announcements too, but when you want to hand viewers a walk through the building, POV is an option. Here is one example: the entrance to the food court in 30 seconds.

We identify the floors that grew and extend them into the next ideas and into ads.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked by shopping mall operators

We have dozens of tenants. Do we need filming approval from each shop one by one?

We don't work shop by shop. As the mall's filming rules, what may appear and who signs off are agreed first, and pre-publication checks go through the mall's contact as one. Shops needing head office approval are listed at the first meeting.

How is pricing decided?

Social media management and POV video production come as a single plan, from JPY 300,000 a month. We no longer offer plans priced by the number of videos. Pricing moves with the number of videos and the ideas behind them, so we quote individually once we know how often you want to film and what the concepts are. Secondary use is allowed, and recommendations for linking with ads are included. There is no charge for filming equipment (as an official Insta360 partner, we lend it). If ads are run, media spend is charged separately at cost.

Which company runs this service?

TripClear Inc., based in Shinsen-cho, Shibuya, Tokyo. Our core is social media management and vertical short-form video production, and we support shopping malls and commercial facilities. For the company profile, see TEAM.

Each tenant has its own official account. What should the mall's account post?

What the mall posts is the one thing no tenant can make alone: the experience of walking the mall. The flow from the entrance to the shop people came for, a meal and a break. Each shop's products and sales are left to the shops, and the mall sticks to giving people a reason to go.

Will filming in the mall during opening hours bother customers?

We film so it doesn't. One camera operator simply walks the same route as visitors, with no lighting or sets. Filming that keeps customers' faces out is the default, and anyone in frame comes out cut by cut before publication.

We run several facilities. Can we commission them together?

Yes, we take them on together. Whether each mall gets its own account or they share one under the brand is decided by customers and catchment. The efficient way is a shared format for ideas, with batch shoots at each mall.

We already run an account ourselves. Can you take it over?

Yes. The account stays as it is, and we change what is posted and how often. Tenant announcements stay, and video of the mall experience is added as the core.

How long until we see results?

Three months, as a guide. The first month finds the floors and angles that work, and from the second month the numbers for arrivals at event pages and coupon redemptions start to move. That is the guide across our management work generally.
