Influencer PR for Shopping Malls & Commercial Facilities

Shopping Malls & Commercial Facilities
Influencer PR

What's good about a mall only comes across in the words of someone who has actually walked it and shopped their way round. We handle everything from choosing creators and going along with them in the mall to reporting on the actions that lead to a visit.

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Partnership ads
  • Event pages and the mall app

Why Influencer PR

4 benefits of influencer PR for shopping malls and commercial facilities

  • Illustration of an official account screen packed edge to edge with sale tags, and a shopping mall building fading in the background

    Merit 01

    Third-party voice

A day at your mall, in their words

Featuring one shop doesn't give people a reason to come to the mall. When a creator visits several shops and talks about how they spent the day, it shows the appeal of the mall itself that official sale notices can't.

  • Illustration of approval-pending paperwork stretching from each unit on a floor map and piling up on the desk of the person in charge

    Merit 02

    Quick awareness

Land in time for your events

While you wait for each shop's approval, an event can slip out of its window. Decide what can be filmed and who approves it up front, and the posts reach creators' viewers together just before the event.

  • Illustration of a dotted line from a video on a phone to a crowd in an event plaza, broken partway, with the visitor tally left blank

    Merit 03

    Start small

Test a few and compare visits

No tracking on the event page, and purchases happen at registers inside the mall. Give a few creators each their own coupon, and you can tell which posts led to visits.

  • Illustration of one vertical video branching out to ad placements, signage and web pages

    Merit 04

    Content reuse

Use posts on signage and apps

Agree in the contract where posts can be used, and they can run on in-mall signage, the mall app and the event pages of your official site. They can feed tenant promotions too.

Why TripClear

Four reasons shopping malls and commercial facilities choose TripClear for influencer PR

  • Illustration of a globe and flight path surrounded by a connected network of creators holding cameras and suitcases

    Reason 01

    20M+combined followers

    Strong in travel creators

Beyond travel creator agencies and our own creators, we also approach fashion and food creators, and present candidates who fit the mall's trade area and customers, with our reasons.

  • Illustration of a creator filming on a smartphone, circled by a loop of icons for planning, shooting, post review and measurement

    Reason 02

    Fully handled

    One-stop management

We set the route toward the floors you want to fill and weekdays, and our team accompanies the creator in the mall. What can be filmed and who approves it are settled first, and the route is built only from shops that have given approval.

  • Illustration of a vertical smartphone surrounded by food, cosmetics, a hotel bed, sneakers, headphones and a building

    Reason 03

    Chosen by data

    Any genre, chosen by data

We check each creator's size, genre and recent average views, and choose by whether their viewers live within reach of the mall and match its customers and age groups.

    By industry

  • Illustration of a creator's vertical video branching into an ad target and megaphone and an official account feed, overlaid with a rising growth curve

    Reason 04

    Reused as ads

A full range of marketing solutions

We report against sessions by referral source and coupon use. Posts that take off are reused as ads, and results are shared with tenants as well.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked by shopping mall operators

Which shops should the creators feature?

Not one shop, but a shopping route through several. Make it the flow of a day, with food, shopping and a break, and it becomes a reason to come to the mall, with traffic going back to each tenant in shot.

We're worried about an influencer scandal or backlash.

Before casting we check their past posts, their genre and how they have behaved on other brands' campaigns, and run compliance and brand checks. If you want more of your output to depend on no one in particular, pairing it with POV footage that has nobody on camera is one route. See POV video for shopping malls and commercial facilities as well.

Can creators' posts also be used on the mall's official account and on in-mall signage?

Yes, if the scope of secondary use is agreed in the contract. We work out everything you need first, from reposting and use on your site to repurposing into ads, in-mall signage and sharing with tenants, and then negotiate.

Is a PR disclosure needed even if we only provide mall gift vouchers or a meal?

It is. Paid or not, a post made after receiving a benefit from a business falls under the stealth marketing rules. We specify the wording and placement of the disclosure and check it before posting.

Won't the views grow without leading to visits?

We too treat views only as an intermediate metric. Before posting, we put measurement on the event page and judge results on traffic and coupon redemptions.

Our budget is limited. How many creators can we start with?

You can start with one or two creators and a single video. Casting several micro creators who live in the catchment and extending the posts that grow through secondary use gets more results from the same budget.
