Why Influencer PR

4 benefits of influencer PR for travel agencies

  • Illustration of an overseas creator shaking hands with someone from the salon, a post spreading outwards in ripples

    Merit 01

    Third-party voice

    Tour guests' voices sell tours

Brochure copy tends to sound the same from one company to the next. Someone who actually joined the tour showing how the day goes is something travelers find easy to believe.

  • Illustration of a traveller walking past a travel agency counter lined with brochures, looking at a vertical phone screen

    Merit 02

    Quick awareness

    Reach travel lovers directly

Choose on follower count alone and you reach people with no interest in travel. Pick creators in travel with strong recent views, and you reach viewers looking for their next destination right away.

  • Illustration of bookings scattered across the counter, the phone and a web form, with the tally sheet in the middle left blank

    Merit 03

    Start small

Test a few and compare bookings

No tracking on product pages, and bookings come by phone and in store. Test with a few creators instead of one, use a different tracking link for each post, and you can see which posts moved people toward booking.

  • Illustration of tour product cards lined up with the same wide landscape photo, impossible to tell apart

    Merit 04

    Content reuse

    Use posts on product pages

Creators' posts tend to go out once on their own account and end there. Get reuse rights, and you can put the videos on product pages and in ads, where the scenery photos all look alike.

Why TripClear

Four reasons travel agencies choose TripClear for influencer PR

  • Illustration of a globe and flight path surrounded by a connected network of creators holding cameras and suitcases

    Reason 01

    20M+combined followers

    Strong in travel creators

We work with travel creator agencies such as TRAVE and TABIPPO, and have creators of our own. We line up people who fit the tour's customers so you can compare them, with our reasons for each.

  • Illustration of a creator filming on a smartphone, circled by a loop of icons for planning, shooting, post review and measurement

    Reason 02

    Fully handled

    One-stop management

We start with tours that have the most seats left and the off-season. Our team goes along on site and secures in advance any supplier locations that need permission. Anti-social-forces checks and contracts are done during shortlisting.

  • Illustration of a vertical smartphone surrounded by food, cosmetics, a hotel bed, sneakers, headphones and a building

    Reason 03

    Chosen by data

    Any genre, chosen by data

What matters is not follower count but how many viewers are interested in travel. We go through each creator's recent average views and profile, and choose by how well they overlap with the tour's customers.

    By industry

  • Illustration of a creator's vertical video branching into an ad target and megaphone and an official account feed, overlaid with a rising growth curve

    Reason 04

    Reused as ads

A full range of marketing solutions

Reuse rights go into the contract, and posts that take off spread to product pages and ads. Reports line up sessions by referral source and bookings for each post.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked by travel agencies

If we cast someone with lots of followers, will bookings go up?

Not necessarily. What we look at is less size than how many people interested in travel are watching. We check recent average views and audience, and put forward candidates that fit the tour's customers, with the reasons.

We're worried about an influencer scandal or backlash.

Before casting we check their past posts, their genre and how they have behaved on other brands' campaigns, and run compliance and brand checks. If you want more of your output to depend on no one in particular, pairing it with POV footage that has nobody on camera is one route. See POV video for travel agencies as well.

Can creators' posts be used on our own product pages and in ads?

Yes, if the scope of secondary use is set in the contract. Reposting, use on your site, repurposing into ads, in-store screens: we identify the scope you need first, then negotiate.

Does a free-invitation trial tour still need PR disclosure?

It is. Paid or not, a post made after receiving a benefit from a business falls under the stealth marketing rules. We specify the wording and placement of the disclosure and check it before posting.

Even if views grow, won't it fail to turn into bookings?

We also see views only as an intermediate metric. Before anything is posted we put measurement on the product page, and judge results on traffic and bookings.

Our budget is limited. How many creators can we start with?

You can start with one or two creators and a single video. Casting several micro creators and extending the posts that grow through secondary use gets more results from the same budget.
